During the American Revolutionary War, British Loyalists made up approximately 15–20 percent of the population of the 13 colonies.They were the people that wanted to stay in Great Britain.

Patriots were members of the 13 British colonies who rebelled against British control during the American Revolution.They the people that wanted to fight for there independence.

Some people say that they would rather be a patriot and not a loyalist because the loyalist didn't fight for their independence they fought for there king.

The patriots also had a great leader his name was (George Washington). George Washington fought in the Revolutionary War.He led them to victory.He was a good leader.
