Bright, creative, out going, These are the qualities in a man simply named Alex

Alex was a young man at the at the age of 25 when he worked as a chief engineer at Edison's illuminating company.

While he was there,Alex created a quadricycle which gave him bright ideas for the future. (cause for wanting to make more vehicles)

Soon later he attended a meeting with Edison's executives and also met thee Thomas Edison.

Edison was thrilled with Alex's ideas and encouraged him to keep experimenting with motorized transportation. (causes him to keep perusing his dreams)

Alex could not believe that thee Thomas Edison approved of his invention.

Knowing this Alex started a company with William.H Murphy and called it the Detroit automobile company. (Effect of Edison inspiring him)

Unfortunately the cars were overpriced so their partnership along with the company dissolved. (causes him to start another company)
