There are THREE types of resources:
-natural
-human
-capital
Natural resources are things supplied by nature.
Examples:
-air
-wind
-coal, rocks and minerals
-animals
-water, oceans, lakes, rivers
-solar power
Human resources are the people who grow, make, and sell a product or service to their community.
Examples:
-teachers
-doctors
-farmers
-factory workers
Capital resources are goods that are made and used to make other things.
Examples:
-tools
-equipment
-buildings
-machinery
What's the difference between a want and a need?
A want is something you would like to have. It is not absolutely necessary, but it would be a good thing to have.
Examples:
-music
-stuffed animals
-electronics
A need is something you have to have, something you can't do without.
Examples:
-food
-water
-shelter
