I dedicate this to Mrs. Rouse because I tried this once before and I messed up so here's to try number 2

Night is a story about a Jewish teenager in the holocaust, Eliezer, also known as Elie, his family, and community.

Eliezer had a pretty large family, but Night mainly talks about his mother, father, and sister Tzipora.

The book begins with Eliezer, his family, and his community being forced out of their homes and into ghettos.
Throughout the book, the stories of what Eliezer calls the "living hell" take place in Auschwitz in Poland.
Eliezer tells the story of him getting split up from his mother and sisters, his and his fathers hardships, and the gruesome details that give the reader a look into what Auschwitz was like.
Throughout the book, you watch as Eliezer begins to lose his faith in God.

Why God? I've been faithful. Why are you doing this to your children?
When Eleizer loses his father inside the concentration camp, you really see him start to give up. Nevertheless, he figures out that work indeed sets him and his people free.

After Elie nearing death of hunger, thirst, depression, and exhaustion, the Jews are finally liberated.
Oh how I wish father could be here!
