The purpose of this storybook is to present human trafficking and how it came to happen in African countries like Morocco.

Between 1400 and 1900 A.C.E, Almost every territory in Africa was a colony of an European country.

During this time, the whole region suffered from a period of slave trading. Africans were sent to other countries to be exploited.

The influence of slave trading left most African countries with negative consequences like underdevelopment, a discriminatory ideology, and poorly organised governments.

These negative consequences of slave trading gave human trafficking the open way to develop as a surprisingly common economic activity.

Morocco is an African country which has been affected by everything mentioned previously.
