Once upon a time there was a little boy named Tommy. Tommy was the picture of health! He ate a full and healthy diet, played outside with his friends all the time, and got a full night of sleep everyday. Then one day he started to not feel so well.

It was just a little stomachache at first. Then Tommy started not sleeping very well and getting headaches. Soon he couldn't play outside with his friends and he didn't eat very much anymore. After a few days of this his parents started to worry.

Tommy's parents took him to every doctor they could think of and nobody could think of any reason Tommy would feel this way. They did countless x-rays and blood tests and nobody could find anything. Finally one doctor suggested that maybe Tommy developed an allergy to something?

So over the next few weeks Tommy and his parents started cutting foods out of their diets. First nuts, eggs, milk, and eventually even fish and even some fruits! After six months there wasn't any change at all. Tommy and his family started going back around to all new doctors to try and figure out a new solution.

After a few more months, Tommy and his parents were at the end of their rope when they stumbled into the newest doctors office. "Please help us!" they cried. After the doctor finished his examination he turned to Tommy's parents and asked them "Have you two ever heard of something called Celiac disease?"
