"They were all so nervous while drawing out of the box. This would determine which project they would do in STEAM class, and inevitably decide how their freshmen year Unfolds. They randomly chose the project with the title of "3-D printing a drone." My creators didn't have a clue what they were doing at first, but with time they made progress.

"In the beginning, they really liked the way a previously designed drone was shaped, so they took reference to it when designing their own. They measured each part of the drone, and then uploaded it to a 3-D modeling software program called Tinkercad . this program allows you to manipulate shapes to make an endless variety of objects and creations.

Once this was done, the creation had to be saved as a STL file and then uploaded to CURA. This is a 3-D printing program that allows you to adjust print settings to ensure the print comes out perfect."

"as soon as that was completed, they were ready to print me on the Lulzbot Taz. err. . . well, some pieces of me. To do this they had to adjust different print settings such as nozzle and bed temperature, so that the filament (what I am made out of) would not come out too hot or too cold, but just right. thus it would adhere to the print bed."
