The heart is a very hard worker. She pumps blood all through the entire body. she supplies oxygen and blood to all of the organs and body systems.

The heart runs the circulatory system. Although the heart is quite incredible, she needs clean blood free of toxins to be able to work.

One day, the heart was pumping along until she got a very bad taste from some blood pumping through her. "What's that?!" she shouted.

When the rest of the body heard her shout, they all became very nervous.
"Are you ok?" The Lungs said
"Whats wrong, heart?" Shouted the brain.

Meanwhile, the kidneys, Katie and Ken, were having a fun time filtering out blood and removing toxins through urine.

Then, Ken suddenly lost all blood supply and began to die and fail. Katie was so sad. She knew that she just lost her lifetime partner.

Then Katie yelled out to the whole body, "Attention everyone! We have one kidney down. I will have to work twice as hard now, but we can just survive with me alone."

Then the heart realized something. She was getting bad, toxic blood to pump out because one of the kidneys wasn't working to filer her blood out properly.
