Hi! I'm Dave, and I'm here with my partner Kate!
Hello!! Today, we're going to learn about the water cycle!

What is the water cycle? Great question!
The water cycle is a circle that happens step by step to our water!!!

The water cycle happens in a order!
For an example, look at this pond right here!

This pond also goes through the water cycle!!
Right!!! In fact, every water source does! It is called a water cycle!!
Let's go to the ocean!!!!

Boy I love the ocean!!
Who doesn't?

The ocean is a large body of water!!
Yes, and water evaporates from it!!

Evaporate? What does that mean?
Well, evaporation is the first step of the water cycle!

Here, let me show you with a chart!

This is a chart I drew of the water cycle! Evaporation is the first step on the map!!!!
Evaporation

*Not according to scale*

Evaporation
Evaporation is where water rises from the earth, (which is also called water vapor), into the sky (also known as the atmosphere)!!

Evaporation
That is called Evaporation!!!

Ohhh, so thats evaporation!!
Yes! Evaporation is very important because it starts the water cycle's first step!!

This brings use right to the next step of the water cycle!!

Our next step??

Evaporation
Condenstation
Our second step of the water cycle is Condensation!!

Condensation
Evaporation
Condensation is where water turns into clouds in the sky (atmosphere)!!!

Evaporation
This is called Condensation!!!

Condensation

Oh, and talking about clouds, there are three different kinds of them!!
Where did you all the suddenly come from??!
The atmosphere.

There are three different types of clouds!!!!
Yes, and each cloud stands for different weather!!

The first cloud is the cirrus cloud!! Cirrus clouds are high up, and they look very wispy!

Cirrus clouds means fair weather or an approach of a warm front!!!

The second cloud is the cumulus cloud!! Cumulus clouds have flat and poofy bottoms!!!
Cumulus clouds mean fair weather until they grow dark into cumulonimbus clouds, which means thunderstorms!!!

The third cloud is the stratus cloud!! Stratus clouds are large blankets of cloud that covers the sky!!!
Stratus clouds mean long periods of rain!!
