Celebrate your differences.

This is Sarah- Sarah just moved into a new house with her mom, dad, and baby brother.

Sarah is just like you and me. She loves playing outside, having fun, and she loves making friends.

Sarah loves her new house and new street! She can't wait to begin school and meet a lot of new friends.

There is only one thing Sarah does not love- and that is her wheelchair. Sarah feels different from the other kids at school because she is the only one in a wheelchair.

Sarah always watched the kids on her street play outside. She wanted to play, but was too scared to ask to play.

Sarah was sad, she was afraid that the kids outside wouldn't want to play with her because she was in a wheelchair.
