Hi! I'm Meiosis and I once lived in the town of Bodytroplis with my good friend, Mitosis.

Mitosis and I had a lot in common. We both loved cake and had daughters!

I had 4 daughters because of her haploids, which only has half a set of chromosomes. So none of them look like me, they all looked different.

Mitosis has 2 kids because she diploids and creates 2 sets of chromosomes. They reproduce by mitosis making daughter cells that are exact replicas.

We both have special gifts. she has the ability to remake/regrow anything they want and so can her kids. The only thing I do is produce gametes, but my goal is to make daughters with half of the chromosomes as the starting cell...
