I know how bad you feel,

I know how much it hurts.

I know you wish you were not here,

and everything would disappear.

You think that maybe if only

things were not like this,

you would be happy and life would be a bliss.

That was me once. And every now and then,

I wished my life was not such a big mess.

But life goes on and you learn to live.

You learn to love and to forgive.

But life goes on and you learn to live.

You learn to love and to forgive.

It won't be perfect but things will get better. It all works out sooner or later.

So don't give up my dear one.

I'm here for you come let's move on.

And on those days you can't go on hold on to me till you feel strong.

Some days are easier and others harder,

but don't forget you have the power.

I Can’t Sleep Tonight

I know you’re in a better place, so why am I awake? It’s getting close to midnight, and I’m tossing here in bed. My mind is racing. My eyes wide open. I’m tired that’s a fact. But we will miss you. We are sad you left us, yet happy your pain is gone. You made it home to our dear father. His promise to you has materialized. Just know we love you and we are happy you are now doing fine. I’ll let you rest do not be bothered because I can’t sleep tonight.

I knew you were not doing well.

You have been gone for a while,

But when I got the news today

My heart was in denial.

I wondered why, how could it be?

I felt my heart sink to my knees.

A wonderful woman, a powerful teacher,

So I asked God, can we please keep her?

He did not answer right away.

I'm not surprised,

But I will continue to pray.

Whatever happens I want you to know,

I've learned from you.

And you helped me grow.

You touch the lives of everyone you meet.

With your high spirits and now with your faith.

We won’t be surprised if this illness you beat.

I thank you for all that you brought to my life.

Hurray for Mrs. Galdamez, we are with you in this fight!

So don’t even try to make us your bounty

Don’t underestimate our power or you’ll see

Your hate is no match for what we can be

And we love this country maybe more than you do

For we were not born in it

yet we choose to fight for it

Our plan is to stay we will not cease fighting

This time everyone will come out of hiding
