Once upon a time, there was a town called Quindle.
The king and queen who ruled over that town had a
daughter named Lucy. Lucy's best friend Peter lived in the
village. They were detectives.Yesterday they solved a case
of a missing ring that Lucy would like to tell you about.So
here's her story....

We had been searching forever looking
for clues when I saw something shine in
the sunlight.I pointed it out to Peter and we
both went to investigate.We found out it was gold coins.
We followed the trail and it led us to a pirate ship.
It must have been some treasure they had dropped.

I began to wonder, what if they had stolen my
father's ring? Peter and I looked around to see
if there was anyone around to tell us more about
these pirates.We spotted a couple of mermaids
and went over to talk to them.

Luckily, they had plenty of time to spare so they
told us more about the pirates.They told us that they
had seen the pirates in Quindle near Lucy's castle.I asked
them to look in peek in the boat and tell us if they could find
my father's ring.They approached the boat peeked in and came
back.They told us the ring was in the boat.

One of the mermaids whistled and more
mermaids and creatures circled around her.
She told them she had a plan.We all huddled
together and she told us her plan.We would get
that ring back!

We all went over to the pirate ship and
then, the battle began.Mermaids swam up
to the ship and waved their tridents in the air
while,the pegasus and the phoenix waited patiently
above to do their part.After the battle was over,the
pegasus and the phoenix carried the pirates away
to jail.

After we said goodbye to the mermaids,
a dolphin took us to the ship where we found my
dad's ring.We went to the castle where we gave
the ring to my dad.He hugged us both and thanked us
and he even let Peter sleep over at the castle for the first
time.It was the best day ever!!!
