In 8th grade, I failed the first math test of the school year. I was very upset because I never failed a test before. I thought I studied, but I wasn't prepared.

I told my mom and my dad that I failed my math test. They weren't angry but they told me that I have to study more or I might not pass the class. I didn't want to go to summer school.

Math was always a very difficult subject for me. Just thinking about math gave me anxiety. I would become overwhelmed with stress.

This stuff is stressing me out. I really don't want to fail another test.

I went to the library and studied for weeks before my next math test. I made sure I knew all the material before I took the next test. I was still very nervous about it but I studied and prepared as much as I could.

I was so nervous while taking the test. I tried not to let the stress overwhelm me. After the test was over, I was scared that I had failed again. I began to question myself on a lot of my answers.

Oh man...I hope I didn't fail. I'm so nervous.

But in the end, all my hard work had paid off. I passed the test! I was so happy and so were my parents!
