Limited government tells us that everyone, including citizens and the leaders of our country must obey the law. Limited Government matters because it promotes equality.

The government can not take away certain rights we have. Some of the rights that you and I have are voting,religion,speech,and press.

Popular Sovereignty

Popular sovereignty is a government where the people of America rule. These people are people like me and you. This means that when you turn 18 you can vote for people to become president. People can run for office and also suggest laws.

Republicanism

Republicanism is how people exercise their power by voting. People 18 and older vote for the president,governor,school board,and other councils or positions. This gives power to the people.
