The Space War for Ariendale
By: Arianna Jones, Alissa McGraw, Anessia Schumann, Hannah Gilliam, Caitlyn Whisenhunt
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Ariel. She lived in a wonderful castle in the kingdom of Ariendale with her father, King Neptune. Her castle was near a lake and she had friends that were fish and crabs. One day, as she was watering her flowers, she heard a voice.

As she walked to the front of the house, she was startled by the evil Kizoa! He grabbed her and locked her in his spaceship! His plan was to evilize Ariel and teleport her to Mars! She didn’t want to go! She put up a fight, but was knocked out. When she awoke, she was in a strange room. Ariel hurried to the door, but when she pulled on it, it was locked! There was no escaping!

When Ariel turned around, she noticed someone had left food and a change of clothes for her. She was hungry, so she decided to eat and get cleaned up. After she changed clothes, Kizoa came and got her and took her to the surface of the planet Mars. When Ariel stepped out of the spaceship, she was taken to the Martian King. “You are ordered to marry my son, the Martian Prince,” demanded the Martian King. Ariel refused, so the guards locked her in a dungeon and war was declared between the Martians and Earth.

King Martian sent his forces to attack Earth and King Neptune sent his forces to attack Mars. The Martians shot at Earth’s spaceship and hit its left wing. Ariel’s cook, John, arrived just in time to fix the wing and connect it to the ship with flex-seal. King Neptune’s forces fired a shot at Mars. The bullet went through the window and killed the Martian Prince!

John was determined to free Ariel from the Martian King. He captured one of the Martian soldiers and threatened him with fire and bullets, “Tell me where you have taken Ariel!” The Martian soldier was terrified and led John to the dungeon where Ariel was being held. John took the keys from the sleeping guard. Just as he was about to open the dungeon door, the Martian King came storming in! John grabbed a fire sword and defeated the Martian King.
He freed Ariel from the dungeon and asked her to marry him. She stopped and thought for a moment. “Yes,” she replied. After the wedding, they spent the rest of their lives traveling the universe and never worried about the Martians again.

Thunderous Awakens
By: Nick Sturgill, Lucas Lambert, Michael Meade, Caden Rogers
In a remote corner, on the coast of Asia, there was a stormy city called Stormax. There was never a calm weather day in Stormax. Percy was a 16-year-old who wanted to figure out what was causing so many storms. The cities surrounding Stormax were calm and sunny. One day, he decided to go on a mission to see what was causing the never-ending storm.
His mission began at the beach. He had just finished swimming with the dolphins and was headed back to his car. When he got to the parking lot, he was flabbergasted to see claw marks all over his car and the rims had been ripped from his tires!
“I wonder what did this to my car,” Percy exclaimed! “No normal person could have done this!”
Percy jumped on his skateboard and went home to call his friends, Max and John. He explained what happened to his car.
“What!” they both exclaimed. Percy said, “I think the creature that tore up my car is causing all of these storms!” Just as the three friends were discussing what kind of creature could cause this damage, a black dragon flew overhead and breathed lightning down onto the ground around them. When John, Max, and Percy looked at the burning ground, they noticed the fire spelled out the sentence, “You shall never slay me!”

The three friends investigated the dragon while it was sleeping. They got their battle gear on and went to fight the dragon. The dragon woke up in a rage! The three friends slashed and hacked at the dragon. One big bolt of lightning came out of Thunderous’ mouth that shocked the friends. Then, Thunderous ate them! Inside his stomach, the friends saw human bones and swords everywhere! Their armor was dissolving by the second!
They had no choice but to hack their way out. They used their swords to slice through the dragon’s stomach and they climbed out. Thunderous fell backwards and died.
They yelled, “We won!” and laughed! The skies cleared and there was never another storm in Stormax. The friends changed the name of Stormax to Sunnax.
