Together in the solar system, the Sun goddess, Moon goddess, and Earth lived together in harmony.

The Earth was always the center of attention; constantly surrounded by the Sun goddess and Moon goddess.

The Sun seemed to steal all the Earth's attention. The Sun's bright shine lit up the Earth each day.

The Moon goddess had always been important to the Earth. After all, she was what balanced day with night. However, the Moon goddess began to notice how all the attention was given to the Sun goddess.

The Moon goddess began to envy the Sun goddess. The Moon goddess wanted all the attention on her.

The Moon goddess started to make a plan.

Her plan was to block the Sun goddess from the Earth.

If the Moon goddess blocked the Sun goddess from the Earth, all the attention would be on her!

The Sun goddess was unaware of the Moon goddess's plan. Oblivious of what was happening, the Sun goddess carried on with her day as usual.

And like that, the Moon goddess completely blocked the Sun goddess from the Earth! The Earth was filled with darkness, with nothing else being able to provide light.
