Dedicated to my dad cause he's the one who gave me the cool cat joke

Babe Ruth isn't his actual name. On February 6th 1895, Katherine Schamberger gave birth to a little boy named, George Herman Ruth. Little did his parents know, they were parenting a kid who was soon to be a baseball player, but little did George know, he wasn't going to call this place home forever.
As George was growing up, his parents found him to be harder and harder to take care of. They found him to be a trouble child. When George was about 12 years old, his parents sent him off to a foster home. That's when his love for baseball all began.

Being in the foster home wasn't always the best, but without it, Babe Ruth wouldn't have become Babe Ruth. It all started with a game in the back of the foster home. Kids were using a stick to hit a ball. George decided to play, and from there he never stopped.

One day in particular, Babe Ruth was playing the game at the foster home with a bunch of other kids. It was Babe’s turn to hit, and he wasn’t the most popular kid there. As everyone is yelling at him saying he can’t do it, babe swings the bat and hits it over the fence. Everyone is in aw as they see the ball fly over the fence, and watch Babe run around the bases.
After that day, Babe Ruth became a better and better ball player. As babe Ruth was finishing his last years in the foster home, he soon started playing on real baseball teams. He started to be seen by coaches. He was getting around, and starting to become a little more well known.

As more and more people started to hear about Babe Ruth, they started asking him to play in a professional league. Babe Ruth eventually signed to a professional team in 1914. Babe Ruth then became one of the best baseball players to ever play. This is when George started to become Babe Ruth.

As Babe played baseball through out his life, other teams started to notice how good he was. All the teams wanted him. In 1920 Babe was signed over to the Yankees from the Boston Red Sox's. Babe was about to help the Yankees win in many ways.
Babe Ruth was known for a lot of things, but something he was known for the most was his home runs. Babe started to hit balls over the fence one after the other. The fans were going crazy for him. Everyone dreamed to hit just as many as he did. The Babe ended his career with over 700 home runs, 60 of them being in one season.
