INTRODUCTION

A key element of climate change is its impact on the Earth's water cycle, whereby the water in our oceans is continuously distributed throughout the atmosphere, land,rivers and lakes, and then return to our seas and oceans.

The seas cover 71% of our planet.

THE DROUGHTS, ¿WHAT IS A DROUGht?

Drought is the scarcity or unusual absence of rainfall - below the "normal"

Depending on their consequences there are some types of droughts: meteorological, socioeconomic, hydrological ... but I´´ m going to focus on climatic droughts.

DROUGHTS: CAUSED BY THE CLIMATIC CHANGE

Droughts because of climate change are due to the fact that heat waves are more frequent due to the increase of the global temperature of the planet owing to greenhouse gases.
