ASLAM'S  DREAM

    Once upon a time a labor lived in a small village with his wife,son and a daughter.They were very poor. They used to live in a small house made by clay and stones.There was only one room in their house and some utensils.His son name was Aslam and daughter was Aleena.The labor and his wife loved their children very much.

    Despite of being poor ,they would always try to fulfill all the needs of their children.They used to send their son to school and provide him with his basic needs.

His sister was not allowed to go to school and she went with her mother to the land lord's home and worked there.Mother and daughter worked there and in return they got a very little money .

    The land lord's wife was very cruel.She didn't pay salary to Aslam's mother on time and she gave half salary to Aleena .

  The labor went out of village in search of job because there was lack of jobs in his village.

   One day the teacher assigned some homework to Aslam. As he came home he asked his mother for a notebook because he had gone out of pages in his old notebook. Aslam was very intelligent student of 

his class. The teachers 

also liked him for his intelligence. 

In a low tone,his mother told him that his father has no proper job in these days.Even in the town he had not found a good job and if he finds one it lasts for a day or two.That money hardly covers the expenses of home and told Aslam that she has no money other than that. 

His mother told him that she will ask his father to buy some notebooks for you as he comes home after a month or two.The next day when Aslam went to school, the teacher was checking the notebooks of his children.All the students had done their homework except Aslam. Instead of taunting Aslam,the teacher asked him gently that why has he not done his homework. Aslam explained their financial problems to the teacher and told him that his father works in the town and these days he has no work to do and his mother and  little sister also work in the land lord's home but

the land lord's wife didn't pay my mother salary on time.The teacher told him to ask his father to meet him as he returns from the town.The teacher wanted to have some talks with Aslam's father.When Aslam came home,he told all these things to his mother which happened in the school.

              His mother told Aslam that yesterday she asked the land lord's wife for some extra money or charity except her regular salary. She requested the land lord's wife to gave much money in her salary but thewife of land lord scolded her and said that education is

not for poor people like us.She had told me to send you to your father in the town to earn some extra money.

        Aslam became very sad because he was very passionate about studies but he didn't said anything.

        After a few days, his father returned from the town.He was also 

very depressed because of unemployment and the expenses. Aslam's mother told him to take Aslam along with him to the town because in this way they will earn some good money.They both decided that it is very difficult to send Aslam to school anymore and that he will take Aslam to the town with him.

    The labor took Aslam with him.Aslam was very sad because he was very passionate about his studies but he didn't want to tell his father because he didn't want to make his father feel bad .

       Aslam has dreamt of becoming a doctor to serve his fellow villagers by establishing a standard hospital in their village.He had gone to the town but was not happy there.He would always remember his 

school,friends,mother and

especially his little sister.

She also want to go to school but she was not allowed,so Aslam teach her at home.He was really worried about her because he teach her at the home whatever he learnt in the school.She was also very intelligent.Aslam was very sad but he couldn't do anything.

         Before leaving for the town,Aslam's teacher visited their home and tried to make his father not to take Aslam with him because he was a bright student.

Aleena also stand their 

beside her father and she 

told him that not to take 

Aslam to the town and make him to work there but her father heard them with deaf ears.Then he told Aslam's teacher that that they were very poor people and they tried their level best to teach their son but now it was impossible for them to afford the expenses and he wants his son to help him in                   earning some money.

                                The teacher told him ''I                          also get very less salary other                           wise I will help him in educating                       Aslam''.Saying that the teacher

went away.

         Aslam stayed at home for a few days,and then his father took him to the town.In the town his father took him to the mechanic shop and found a job for Aslam there.Aslam was very young for that job and he had never done such a hardwork before.That is why,he could not work properly.                   The mechanic told his father that                      Aslam cannot work properly,so he                      will get half of his wage.Aslam's                           father became sad but then said

to the mechanic that it is alright to give his son half of his wage but when Aslam would learn how to work properly then he will get full wage.The mechanic agreed to this.                         One day Aslam was doing his work and he heard Azaan. He asked the mechanic for permission to go to the mosque and offer the prayer.The mechanic allowed him to go to                          mosque .Then Aslam told the                                   mechanic that he wants to ask                          him something if he allows,and                           the mechanic replied that he can           ask whatever he wants to ask.

Aslam asked ''Why do you not go to say the prayer?'' The mechanic felt very embarrassed and promised Aslam that he will start going for prayer after this.

        When Aslam left, the mechanic said to his friend who was sitting beside him that Aslam is a very nice boy and he offers all the prayers.

Aslam has gradually started learning how to work properly and the mechanic had increased his salary which was 50 rupees per day .The mechanic told Aslam to not come to work on Friday because it is off on Friday.

         The next day when Aslam's father was leaving for his work ,he said Aslam to stay in the room because it was not safe outside in the town.There were bomb blasts and the kidnappers would kidnap children from the streets.

        Aslam replied his father that he will have to go to the mosque to offer the prayer.

His father allowed him to go for prayer but told him to return to their room as soon as he offers the prayer. Aslam assured his father that he will come back soon.

          When the time of prayer came closer, Aslam made himself ready for the prayer and went out to go to the mosque.While offering the prayer a stranger came to stand beside Aslam. There were a great number of other people standing there and were offering the prayer. At that time the stranger cried louder ''ALLAHU AKBAR ,ALLAHU AKBAR''{Allah is the greatest} and blows himself because he was
