I love my body. My body helps me do so many things.


Riding my bike in my neighborhood is one of my favorite things to do. Before I ride my bike, I put on my helmet. My helmet protects my head if I fall.

One way I take care of my body is by keeping my teeth clean. I always brush my teeth in the morning and at night.

Another way I take care of my body is by washing my hands. I wash my hands before I eat, when I play outside in the mud, and every day after school. It's important to keep my hands clean so I don't get sick from germs.

It's important for me to get enough rest. Sleep gives me energy so I can play again tomorrow!

I keep my body healthy by eating things that are good for me. When I wake up in the morning, my favorite breakfast is oatmeal and raisins.

My body needs a lot of water to stay healthy. I have a special water bottle that I bring to school everyday.

I also love to learn about my body parts. Have you ever felt your heartbeat? Your heartbeat is slower when you aren't moving. After you run, your heartbeat goes fast!
