Kelso Stylinson is a 19 year old boy who  lives in an apartment in Massachusetts  with his roommate, Matt. He is attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Kelso was nervous to go off to college by himself because he got really bad panic attacks and was really bad in social events. He usually tended to isolate himself and got really bad nightmares and was easily agitated. This prevented him from getting very close with others and making friends. 

Kelso also usually liked to repeat some words before being able to understand that material that he was learning.

Although Kelso is a very smart boy, he was also very strange. Kelso was a man of science and did not believe in superstitions, but he still did small little rituals before doing certain activities. Such as turning the stove off and on 2 times and then wiping it down 2 times and then opening and closing the oven 3 times before leaving home

One day  Kelso was going to his mom’s birthday during his spring break and his dads were going to come pick him up from his apartment.  His dads were waiting for him outside his apartment, but before he left, he had to do his ritual.  He was turning the stove off and on 2 times and then wiping it down 2 times and then opening and closing the oven 3 times before leaving home

What's wrong?

Kelso explained that he felt as though he thought that he had to check the oven and stove in a certain order or his apartment would burn down and his family would be harmed. 

I feel like I have to check the oven and the stove before I leave the house or you guys and the rest of the family will be in trouble.

Kelso’s dads told him that his family would be alright and so would his home. Kelso freaked out and had a panic attack because his dads prevented him from doing his rituals.

No no no no, I can't breathe. *sobbing*

No, Kelso, the family will be just fine if you don't check the stove. We will always be here for you honey. 

His dad  says that he thinks that Kelso has OCD because he has seen it in Kelso’s mom’s sisters.

Kelso, I think you may have OCD. Your mom's sister had OCD and this was how she acted and felt.
