One morning Jack woke up to see police duct tape everywhere because apparently during the night his dad had gone missing.

Jack and his mum Jill searched the basement but his dad was nowhere to be found. Outside they could hear the police arriving.

We have opened a missing person’s report

The police talked to Jack and his mum to let them know that they had opened a missing person’s report.

Jack was really miserable because he missed his dad so much. His mum felt so bad and wanted to cheer him up so she took him to his favourite toy shop to let him pick out a toy. Jack had been saving his pocket money for a really long time to buy this very special teddy bear that cost $14.99. The manager of the shop asked Jack what he would like. Jack asked the manager to pass him down the middle teddy bear. It felt just right in his arms and all of a sudden a warm feeling came over him. Mum and Jack left the shop to go home.

That night Jack snuggled into bed with his new Teddy. Suddenly out of nowhere he hears a voice coming from the teddy bear. Jack panics as he hears the words again, “Son, can you hear me?” Jack says, “Dad is that you? How did you get in the teddy? Dad answers, “What are the odds of you picking out  me??” 

“Son, can you hear me?”
