One afternoon in the lush green Amazon Rainforest, a nice, friendly girl Tiger named Jo was trotting down the damp, dirt path with a red-eyed tree frog on her head.   They were chatting about how Lee - a mean, older male Jaguar, was going to attack Jo and eat her for dinner.

The pair were looking for some dinner and frog suggested ants. They found a big ant nest next to a bush, so they started to eat.

Frog was looking around and saw something move in the bush beside them.  So frog jumped off Tiger’s head and looked in the bush to see who it was.  Then he realised there was a big, orange foot!

Frog looked up and saw that it was Jaguar! Frog jumped straight up into Tiger’s head and said, “Quick, run home!”.

When they ran off, Jaguar started chasing them.  They quickly jumped into the dark and murky lake so that Jaguar could not chase them.

When they thought they were safe, they made their way home but they were still hungry because they never got to eats the ants.   They had to eat leaves instead and then fell asleep.

The next morning, Jaguar was up in front of the hut waiting for them!  He chased them down the sticky, muddy path and bit Tiger on the back of the neck!

Tiger passed out because he got poisoned from Jaguar’s teeth.

Tiger woke up after twenty minutes and found out that there were stripes on his back! He needed help. So he went to visit Fox, the potion-maker.
