One sunny day during the season of spring, two good friends Sheree and Nikki were walking home from school. Both girls were chatting away about the upcoming  school talent show.

" I wonder what acts will be in this year's talent show? 

"I can't wait to see the different acts in the talent show!".

As Nikki is talking, Sheree begins singing a song very quietly to herself. She couldn't get the catchy tune out of her head.

"I believe the children are our future...."

"Sheree, you have such a beautiful voice! You should try out for the school talent show!!

"Me? I couldn't. I would be terrified of being on stage and singing in front of all of my classmates!".

"Don't be afraid! Your voice sounds so beautiful that all would want to hear your gift of song!". I will be there to cheer you on!".

"I guess you're right Nikki. It will not hurt to try as long as you're there!.

On the day of the talent show, Sheree calmed her nerves as she prepared to go on stage as soon as her name was called.

" I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty that they possess inside!
