Once upon a time, a young man named Coby White began playing basketball with dreams of reaching the NBA.

Coby was very quick and agile, but never got very tall. He knew he would have to work extra hard to reach the next level. 

Coby began to attract attention from some of the top schools for basketball. 

Coach Williams of the men's basketball team at the University of North Carolina began pursuing him. 

"Coach Williams, it is an honor to meet you!"

"Hello Coby, I am here to offer you a scholarship!"

"Thank you so much! I will not disappoint you and I will work hard."

In August of 2018, Coby White began his college experience at the University of North Carolina.

Coby began practicing and preparing for the season with the team and it became clear that he would be the starting point guard as a freshman. 

The season started and the Tar Heels started off hot going 6-0 and Coby White's value began to skyrocket into the top 10 of the NBA mock drafts.

Coby continued to study well and practice a lot throughout the season as ultimately the Tar Heels would finish the regular season 26-5. 

The Tar Heels were given the no. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament for the Midwest Region and ultimately lost in the semifinals to Auburn University. 

However, Coby had impressed many NBA scouts and was a lock for the top ten in the NBA Draft.
