Hi! My name is Mayor Mallory. I was recently employed as mayor of Collinsville. I have many jobs as mayor such as presiding over meetings, the police department, small businesses, etc.

Hello everyone! How are you today?

I'm glad you've decided to join me! I'm going to start off by telling you how I became mayor of this lovely town. I had to run for the position of mayor and be elected to this office. I began my campaign right after the previous election ended and quickly gained numerous supporters such as family and friends. I often had to give speeches or interviews for the paper.

Once I was elected to this office my duties began immediately! I was now over the conduct of the police department, city council meetings, and the overall betterment of the city. My first stop on my journey for the day is the police station to discuss the budget for new equipment.

As mayor I help set the budgets for the police department. My proceedings over the police department are few, but I do help to make sure everything is going to plan and they have a set order of conduct. I also make sure that we set budgets for the department. After I'm done with the police station, my next order of business is a ceremony opening a new garden.

As mayor it's my responsibility to be at ceremonies for the city. When the city is awarding somebody with something, there is a new opening of a public facility such as a park or memorial, or if the local departments are hosting events I make an appearance and will typically give a speech. In doing this, I can see what my community is doing but also establish a relationship with the citizens. My next order of business is reporting to my office to prepare for a council meeting tonight.
