Also, I dedicated this journal to my self to witnessed my everyday decision and it will serve as receipt that I can look back anytime even when I'm old.

Our topic was about the Dalumat sa pagkatao Pilipino of Prospero Covar. My realization is our language, Filipino, is truly our wealth. The challenge here is how we can keep this alive and pass with another generation. Our language is amazing. We say or hear it everyday but the meaning and where it comes from truly describe our culture. Honestly, I badly want to take foreign languages but today I just want to take Filipino language. I want to know more about our language because it speaks our culture.
Day 29: February 15

Today was our oral examination in Contemporary Family Life. I’m super duper nervous even though I know to myself that I studied and read my required readings for this examination. Even though my professor called my name, the tension was doubled. I answered her question but I know to myself it was not my best answer. Tension ate me so my other ideas couldn’t speak. Nevertheless, it was the best experience. The next thing I should do is learn to relax, therefore I can speak clearly about the ideas I’m trying to convey. As a future educator, I must learn the “grace under pressure” because we don’t really know what challenges could come in our life. I need to relax and be ready for that.
Day 30: February 16

My takeaway on UN REPORT about family is family is the heart of society. As a basic unit of the society, the state should promote family values to every person because family is their first ground when it comes to development up until to become a citizen. Every home should be warmth , accepting, and secured because that’s the ingredients for strengthening family relationships. State should provide needs and assistance for every family to make it healthy and strong because family would serve as the foundation of society. If the state neglects the cry of every family’s need, the society will be crushed.
Day 31: February 17

Natural law theory was our topic for today for Foundation of Values Education 2. I wasn’t able to share my insight so I’ll share it here. I agree on the video about natural law. According to Thomas Aquinas, Morality is important to everyone. Being Good is part of us because of God’s plan. I’m flattered because my parents taught me that Goodness is innate to everyone, you just need to treat other people with goodness too. Value of the LIFE. Life is a gift from God and no one could take it except from him. Hence, by reflecting on our current state of society the value of Life is neglected by many people. Even our government supported killings which is not an ethical action because their conscience are not anchored on “to do good to others'' but also taking away the greatest gift of God to those victim of extrajudicial killings
