My sister asked why I continue education because I’m not gonna get rich in this profession. I answered, God calls me on this profession. If I’m not gonna get rich it's okay because God has plans for me specially in this field. We don’t know yet but sometimes the biggest blessing is not the money but the appreciation of the betterment of the nation and I want to be part of it. God got me ready for that job and I don’t want to miss it out.

Day 23: February 9

While reading Filipino Family Communication, I reflected on my family situation. At first, as we grow, our communication becomes less each day and it is not healthy. Parents are taught that once their children are adults they can stand on their own and have no need for their help. But communication has no age. Communication is one of the keys to having a healthy relationship with family.

Day 24: February 10

I read my required readings for Philippine Society, and Culture. After that, I told myself that the language I’ll use in teaching will be Filipino. Language is the mirror of the culture but here in our country we’re centered on Western Approaches. Our current education taught us to study and leave the country. As a future educator, we will be the one who promotes strengthening our culture. It is not only for fame or trend but for the future nation.
