There was a boy named Mason.

He was a smaller kid with many passions.

Mason loved sports and played every day,

but there was one sport he loved most of all,

Lacrosse.

Mason started playing lacrosse in first grade,

but he wasn't very good.

He tried to keep up with the others

but behind them is where he stood. 

He figured he was just a bad player all along,

but as he grew older

he realized he's wrong.

One night Mason thought to himself,

"Something must change, I need to do better!"

So he thought for a minute before grabbing his sweater.

He went outside in the rain but didn't mind the weather.

"Parctice makes perfect, so I need to try harder."

From then on, he practiced every single day,

hoping new skills would venture his way.
