Transportation
New York City's transit system is a maze of interconnected infrastructure. New York City, as the country's most populous city, has a transit infrastructure that includes one of the world's largest subway networks, the world's first mechanically ventilated vehicular tunnel, and an aerial tramway. In addition, each of the boroughs of New York City has a comprehensive bus system, there are also a lot of yellow taxis and boro taxis all over the place. In comparison to other cities in the United States, private cars are less common.

Taxicabs, which are required to have a medallion in order to operate, travel an average of 180 miles per shift. There were 51,398 people licensed to drive medallion taxicabs as of March 14, 2014. A total of 13,605 taxicab medallion licenses were issued. By July 2016, the figure had fallen to 13,587 medallions, a decrease of 18 from the previous year's total. Due to competition from ridesharing firms, taxi use has decreased since 2011.

- If I were you, I would use the subway instead of taxis
-If there weren't so many others transportation methods, taxis would be so much cheaper.
-If New York taxis don't have a medallion, they can't operate
Eco-friendly issues

New York is one of the states with the lowest annual carbon emissions, which could come as a surprise. To put that in context, New York is home to 6% of the US population but emits just 3% of the country's greenhouse gases. We may now attribute this to regulations or low rewards for car travel. However, several factors have come together to help NYC achieve such a low carbon footprint.
The fact that biking and taking the subway are the most common modes of transportation in NYC helps. The majority of the job, however, is done by the general trend of living an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
People in New York City are eager to drive low-emission vehicles. They also go above and beyond to partner with companies that are environmentally conscious. As a result, if you intend on settling down in this wonderful area, be aware that you will be expected to follow these guidelines as well.

- If New York didn't implement eco friendly methods, It would contaminate the environment too much
-If you are planning to live in New York, you will have to follow all the eco-friendly guidelines
-If people used cars and taxis more than bikes and the subway, the city would be so much more polluted
