I was born July 30, 1863 right outside of Detroit. After I grew up, I traveled into the city to find a job in machinery.
I loved machinery!
By 1893, I had married my beautiful wife Clara Bryant and had a son named Edsel.

After two years of hard work, I had built the quadricycle and drove it around downtown Detroit! Everyone was so interested, I couldn't believe it! Then Detroit Automobile Company was born!

On October 10, 1901, I entered a car race and won! I got so excited that I built a new car, the "999", that beat the fastest record! I went 5 miles in 5 minutes and 28 seconds! I was so fast!!!
Model N
In June of 1903, my buddy Alexander Malcomson and I began Ford Motor Company.
And from 1903-1908 I built all kinds of car models: A, AB, AC, F, K, N, R, and S. Model N was the most popular.
So many amazing things happened for Ford Motor Company for the next 8 years!
1) We built the most popular car, Model T.
2) I managed the first moving automobile assembly line with 13,000 men!
3) I increased the pay wage to $5/day for 8 hour days!
4) I filmed a movie: How Henry Ford Makes One Thousand Cars a Day!
5) And I bought land, Rouge Plant to have my factory!

Rouge Plant, Spring 1915

Assembly Line, Fall 1913
On November 24, 1915, I hosted a press conference with my great idea to end World War I, the Peace Ship. I tried to convince the opposing countries to stop fighting, but it was ultimately a failure.

In December of 1918, I decided to resign from the Ford Motor Company presidency, and my son, Edsel, took the position.
I announced the Model A in 1927, and it was released in 1929! Look how gorgeous it is!
Here is what I call "Fordlandia" located in Brazil to make rubber for the cars!
