FINAL REFLECTION
Module 1: Technology
I Use to think that google productivity tools were unnecessary. For example, I felt that it was no point in having google docs because a person could type whatever they needed into a word document; but, now I that it is necessary because google docs automatically saves your information. There were plenty of times my computer was not on my side this semester, but anytime I logged back into my google account, all of my information would be saved; furthermore, google forms were interesting to work with because I never worked with them before. I plan on using google forms in my future classes to gather information on my students and my student parents.

Module Two: Introduction to lesson planning
I use to think that I did not have to write measurements in objectives, but now I think we should because it sets a goal. Whether or not the student accomplishes the objective with 80 percent accuracy, 90 percent accuracy, or 95 percent accuracy , it is still important to measure students. Also, It is important to have background and rationale with every lesson plan. It gives reason to why someone teaches what they teach.
Module Two: Technology (Concept Mapping)
I use to think that all you needed was a lesson plan to teach students, but now I think teacher still have to be prepared to write a lesson plan. I never did a concept map before, but I plan on doing them very often because it made creating my lesson plan much easier. It was easy to read and it was a great form of planning before writing an actual plan. I plan to use this in my classroom more so with unit lessons over single lessons because it helps me feel prepared and organized; moreover, it helps me with my computer skills, and the more I do concept mapping, the better I become. It was hard putting it together at first, and yes it took a lot of time, but I am very proud of my work.

Module Three: Visible thinking
I use to think that it was okay to ask a question to my students and immediately let them answer the question. Now I think that every time I ask a question as an educator, I need to allow them a few seconds or a minute to think about it before they answer the question. Doing that gives them time to process material, and gather their thoughts before they explain aloud. I plan on doing this very often in my classroom so that my students can really process their thinking.

Module Three: Video Creation
I use to think that I was not good at editing videos, now I think I am very confident in editing videos with “ Clips”. Clips was one of my favorite technology assignments because I felt free. It was fun changing filters, having moving emojis, and music playing throughout my video. I can use clips with any subject I teach. It allows my students to be creative with whatever we may learn about.

Module four Lesson Plan ( Learning with technology).
I use to think that we did not need to incorporate technology into lesson plans, especially standards, because back in my day we did not use technology as much. Now I think that we should incorporate technology in our lesson plans and lessons because technology is becoming more and more advanced and we are getting further and further away from the ways things used to be. I plan on having technology standards in every lesson plan to help my students become more advanced in technology and to make my lessons more interesting for them so they can be actively learning.
Module four (Powtoon)
I used to think that book reports could only be done on paper, but now I think that there are multiple ways to do book reports. Working with Powtoon showed me that book reports can be fun. It should be that students do not always have to turn in an essay but can create a cartoon story with things they learned. When I hold my theater classes on weekends, I will use Powtoon for plays that we read in class or plays that they have read on their own and have them share it with the class.
