One sunny day Elsa was writing a note, Anna burst into the room.
She said that she was going to write a book about when they were
little. Elsa looked sorry because she knew that Anna couldn't
remember that time. When Anna was gone, Elsa looked for a book
she knew she had. Inside the book was a map to the trolls. There
was a memory stone there that held Anna's memories. Elsa wanted to
get that stone for Anna. She didn't know how. She thought for a
moment...
"For my sister," she said, "I will."

There was a knock at the door and Hans came in. It was a surprise to
Elsa to see him and she was worried. She was alone in the room with
Hans who had been sent away.
Suddenly Anna burst back into the room. To both of them Hans said
he was sorry for what he had done and he wanted to make it up to
them.
"Hmm...Well there is one thing," said Elsa. She asked Hans to get the
memory stone from the trolls.

The next morning Hans left in secret. He walked to the troll's. He
told them the story of why he needed to get the stone. The trolls did
not trust him to do just what he said. The trolls said he must go into
the woods and find the troll who is taking care of a baby. They told
Hans he must take care of the baby while finding a home for him. A
home willing to take care of him, love him and train him to be a good
man. This would prove Hans was trustworthy.

In the morning Hans left to find the baby. 10 steps into the forest
Hans found a troll and a baby. Hans told the troll the story and the
troll said she would let him take the baby.
The baby was a boy named Victor. So off Victor and Hans went.
The first stop was rather sad because there was a man and a woman
who said they would love to take him. However they found they
couldn't afford a child. So Hans and Victor moved on.

The first night at camp with Victor was rather annoying to Hans.
The boy wouldn't stop crying. Hans could not sleep. Hans was about
to give up when he remembered the trolls words. He must take care
of the baby. So he gave him a bottle of milk and he fell fast asleep.
The next morning Hans and Victor left to find a home for Victor. He
went to a home that looked small but there was 20 kids in it. Too
crowded! thought Hans. So he walked on without saying anything to
them.

In the next house was a furious woman who hated children. The woman
yelled, "A little boy?! Ahhh! I hate children!"
Victor was crying hard as Hans ran away. He knew he could not give
Victor to that woman.
Hans went on until he ran into a man and a woman and a puppy who
looked very nice. He walked up to them, they looked at him and the man
pulled out a piece of paper and a pencil. He wrote something on it and
handed it to Hans. Hans read it and it said, what do you want? Hans
started to say, "I'm looking..." Then he stopped. He realized these people
couldn't hear or speak. So he sighed and walked away.

Hans walked back to camp with Victor. It was sunset. Victor started to cry
again. Hans gave him a bottle again and he fell fast asleep.
The next day Hans took Victor to a log hut. A plump, happy looking lady
and man came to the door. The lady wore and apron and there was the
smell of baking cookies. This was a sign she was a good cook.
She said, "What a lovely baby you have there."
Hans said, "He is not MY baby. He is up for adoption."
The lady said, "Come in here young man." So he did, and she gave him
some cookies, and Victor some milk. She whispered something to her
husband, then she told Hans she would like to adopt Victor.
Hans said, "I'm looking for someone who will, love him and train him
to be a caring young man. So that he can one day have his own
family and know how to train them to care for others. The trolls have
asked me to find this home and will come by to check on Victor and
make sure that all is well with him and his family."
Hans said goodbye to Victor and left to go to the trolls.
