Ms.Morgan's class

Emma skipped in the heat with her long blonde pigtails flying in the air. She wore her favorite bright pink shirt, black pants, flip-flops, and a big purple backpack swinging wildly from her back. Her eyes lit up and her teeth sparkled in the sunlight as she made her way down to the park. Emma had invited her school friends to meet her there to play. The park was her favorite place to play with her friends. The whole way there Emma thought, What are we going to play with first? She hoped that they were going to play with the new bubbles she had brought stored in her backpack.

Emma was the first one to arrive. While she was waiting for her friends she tried to do the monkey bars. She loved the monkey bars, but she could never do them all the way and would always get blisters on her hands that would cause her to cry over frustration. Puzzled face, eyes watering, she landed on the wood chips. With a gruff voice she mumbled to herself, “Why can't I do the monkey bars but all of my other friends can?”

"Ahhhhh!"

She got up from the ground and heard the sound of laughter coming from familiar voices, it was her friends. They arrived shortly after she had gotten up after hitting the ground violently. Her friends names were Anna and Sammy. Anna wore a bright blue shirt, black pants, and flip flops. Sammy wore a yellow shirt with black pants and Nike tennis shoes.

"Hahahahahaha"

As her feet hit the ground Emma turned her head and said, “Hey there friends I hope you saw me do the monkey bars. I got really good at them over the summer, and I have went across them at least 10 times before you came. Maybe we should do something else rather than the monkey bars because my arms are soooo tired from all that work. Emma thought to herself, if only I could do the monkey bars once across, I wouldn't feel so let down.

"Hey friends, come over here"

“We could play with my bubbles I brought, they’re in my backpack!” Emma said. The girls jumped up and down with a smile spreading on their faces, YAY!, both girls cheered. “Let's do a competition to see who can blow the biggest bubble,” Anna said. Shaking their heads up and down to this competition idea, they found themselves running to Emma’s backpack. Emma unzipped her backpack and handed out the bubbles to her friends. “Okay girls, Anna you’ll go first, Sammy you'll go second, and I'll go last,” said Emma.

Anna's face turned red and her cheeks puffed up like a chipmunk, blowing out Anna thought for sure she had the winning bubble size.

"Look at my bubble"

Then Sammy went she inhaled until she looks like a puffer fish and pushed out all the air into the bubble. Her bubble she had blown was huge about the size of a basketball, when Anna saw this she immediately knew that she had lost this competition.
