Teachers can enhance the classroom learning experience by effectively and creatively using technology integration. Multimodal learning environments help foster student engagement and interest.
Digital presentations, video, and photo taking or movie making are great tools to incorporate into the classroom lesson plan to design multimodal learning interaction.

When designing a presentation, the teacher should incorporate it into the lesson to gain and maintain the audience. Practicing, timing, and audience appeal are important. Some examples of using a presentation effectively might include: comparing two images and then discussing the images with the students, displaying the questions for discussion and recording the comments, or introducing a writing prompt, topic or style.

Using video is a great technology tool to use with students to enhance classroom instruction. Strategies include pausing and re-play while asking questions and discussing, requiring students to write responses after parts of the video, or create an immersive video. Immersive video includes questions, quizzes, and/or dialogue inside the video. Student interaction and engagement are key factors.

Photo taking and movie making are also great tools to use in the classroom. Students become engaged in documenting their own learning by recording personal interviews or the progress and results of an experiment. Students will become authors and editors. Some other great examples of this are student created alphabet books and informational books.
