Endemic plants spread only in certain regions of the earth. The living area of it is limited to a specific area. Lots of examples for endemic plant species can be given from Turkey. Here are the types of plant species only seen in Turkey;

Anatolian Gladiolus
As the name suggests it is unique to Turkey.
It grows in the pine forests, maquis and lime stone areas.
Mediterranean and some parts of the Aegean

İstanbul Kardeleni
Amaryllidaceae is an endemic flower in Turkey.
There are plenty of them naturally together in Istanbul. Moreover, it is located in Bursa and Kırklareli. You can see them on the edges of fir and beech forests. January-April is the period of flowering.

Liliaceae
44 type of this flower among 430 are in Turkey. It is an endemic flower.

Cappadocia Onion
There are six petals in the flowers. It likes rocky-wooded areas. The height of the ground must be 30-40 cm. It is suitable for the growth of 900-1400 meters. When the flowers blossoming in pink, they get white. It is a perennial herbaceous plant flowering from June to August.

Bell flower
It is the common name of one, two or perennial plants. It takes its name from the flower-shaped bell. Campanula in Latin means little bell. Flowers are grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and pots.

Antalya Çiğdemi
It is a perennial plant. It grows in the forests at an altitude of 900-1250 meters. It blooms in October-December. You can see this flower in Antalya.

Van Reverse Lale
It's the symbol of sadness. It is the oldest known ornamental plant. Reverse tulip is a family of bulbous plants. For many religions and cultures it is a symbol of sadness and has a role the subject of legends.

Love Flower
It is a specific flower in Turkey. Its species is in danger of extinction. It is known by many different names among the people. Love blossom grows only in the world near Hacı Hasan Village in Gölbaşı, Ankara. Because of extinction risk due to pesticides, it is protected under the Bern Convention.

Pian, Eber Yellow
It is a perennial herbaceous plant.
Turkey is the only species of the genus. It was discovered in 1982-1983. In some sources, this flower is also called Eber yellow due to ıts yellow flowers.
Endemic plant species in Turkey is going to be destroyed within a short time. It is therefore in the category of Critically Endangered-CR.
