It's finally winter! Outside the snow is falling, trees are bare and the smell of hot chocolate fills the air. Inside, the children are too excited about their holidays to focus on the lesson.

“I can’t wait to see what Santa brings me on Christmas! What are you asking for Max?” Lucy asks.

“Oh, I don’t celebrate Christmas,” Max explains, “I celebrate Hannakuh!"

“What’s that?” asks Lucy.

“Let’s get in the magic elevator and I’ll show you!" Max says.

So, the three friends gather in the magic elevator to travel to Max’s home country of Israel to see what Hanukah is all about.,

Max takes his friends to his cousin's house to see how they celebrate this winter holiday!

Although Max tried to explain why they were lighting the candle, Lucy was still confused.

"Maybe we should go back to the magic elevator and travel back to when Hanakkuh all started," suggested Max.

The friends got back in the elevator to travel back in time to go to Jerusalem, the capital of Israel.
