who lived on a hill.

Her name is Leizl.

Their little hut is very far

from the city.

It was too far that she needs

to cross:

one valley,

two mountains,

and three hills.

Her family is not rich but they are happy.

She loves to play with her brothers and sisters. They like to play games together, such as: Luksong Tinik, Luksong Baka, Patintero, Shatong, Piko, Pitik-bulag, Sipa, Tumba-patis o presohan, chinese garter, jackstone, and Panagu-ay or hide-and-seek.

Leizl also loves to climb trees.

She even hides on a tree whenever she's angry or sad.

Can you sleep on a tree? She did.

Leizl is happy, as happy can be.

But while growing up, she realized that she wants more... So she started to dream.

As a child, she thought that a lady wearing a gown, a red manicure, a high-heeled shoes, and living in the city, is already rich. And that is all she wanted to be... a lady in red.

She kept that dream safely locked in her heart.

leizl grew up to be pretty and strong. She has a long black hair, and a sun-kissed skin that has gone even darker due to exposure to the sun, because she helps her family in the farm.

Growing up, she has not forgotten

her dreams.

She even worked harder because of it.

She helped her mother by peddling fruits

and vegetables in the market,

to earn money while studying.

As soon as she graduated from highschool, she went to the city,

to start building her dreams.
