Have you ever thought about how hard it would be to fly a plane, having to deal with all of the controls and buttons? Well that's what Jessica Cox calls possible! Except for one thing, she was actually born without arms and she flies only using her feet and legs!

She became the first ever licensed armless pilot. Why and how did she do this?

Jessica Cox was born on Febuary 2nd, 1983 in Arizona. She is now 36 years old and she can drive any normal car, play piano, she is a black belt in taekwondo, and she can fly an air plane. She makes a living off of giving motivational speeches to people around the world. She encourages people to make a difference.

She has already met so many people without arms and she has encouraged them to go farther.She graduated high school, then graduated from the University of Arizona studying psychology.

All Jessica Cox wanted to do and be was successful and normal. She wore prosthetic arms for 11 years, but one day she woke up and told herself that she wouldn't wear them anymore and she would learn to live without them.

People called her hook or robot girl when she wore her prosthetic arms. She didn't let this stop her. She knew she could be normal

Mrs. Cox was frightened of flying. So why would she want to fly a plane?

She wanted to fly a plane to overcome her fear and she knew this has never been done before. The moment she stepped into a plane she knew she was going to struggle, but she also knew that she could do it with her feet. The first 3 years were tough and she still struggles with buckling into her seat. This doesn't stop her.

It took 3 instructors, 3 airplanes, and flight training all over the United States. She was frustrated with people and with her problem before all of the significant things she has done. Most people think its impossible or that she can't do it, but she most definitely can. She looks at the word impossible as I'm possible.
