What part of the cell theory was changed from spontaneous generation?

The part which states that all cells come from existing cells, not from non-living things. This is can also called biogenesis. Which is the production of new cells!

What are the 3 parts of cell theory?

1. All living things are made up of one or more cells  

2. The cell is the basic unit of life.

3. New cells are born from existing cells.

Redi left meat in each of six containers. Two were open to the air, two were covered with fabric, and two were tightly sealed. He arrived to a conclusion that maggots could only form when flies were allowed to lay eggs in the meat, and that the maggots were the offspring of flies, not the product of spontaneous generation.
