1. What is an ecosystem?
It is a system or a community of living and non-living things. There are biotic and abiotic factors. The biotics are the living ones, like animals, plants and humans. The abiotic factors are the ones that doesn’t live like air, fire and water.

2. How is this ecosystem?
The African savanna is a terrestrial ecosystem located in the center of Africa.
The African Savanna has a tropical weather and it is very warm.

3. Living things
Living things are organisms that have cells, reproduce, grow, and need water, air and nutrients to survive. Some living things live in the African savanna like, lions, elephants, giraffes and rhino.





Animals
-Elephant
The elephant is the biggest animal of the African Savanna, it is bigger than people! The elephant has a long trunk and it likes to drink water. It is gray and it has four legs.

-Giraffe
The giraffe is big and it has a long neck. It is yellow and brown. It eats leaves and it has big teeth.
