This story is about a project on global warming and climate change conducted by several schools. The students introduced themselves, made presentations, designed logos and posters, wrote chain stories, prepared bulletin boards, planted trees, calculated carbon footprints, and created an e-book. They also discussed the definition, reasons, results, and precautions of global warming. Each school had specific tasks related to the project. The story emphasizes the importance of taking action to prevent climate change.

Several short group essays and stories explore different reasons why students drop out of school and how determination, support, and opportunity can change their futures.

Reasons for students dropping out of school include being kicked out, family issues, financial problems, health issues, and academic difficulties. Families can support their children by having realistic expectations, considering different schools, getting involved, and staying in touch with the school. Schools can provide family support mechanisms, adopt early-intervention strategies, create out-of-school programs, be honest with students, introduce classroom coaches, be mindful about nutrition, set study goals, ask for help, help students make informed decisions, develop mentoring/tutoring programs, teach them how to study, and support their mental health.
