BATTERY
A battery is a container that holds chemicals. Those chemicals store energy until it needs to be used and when used it turns into electric energy.
I need batteries for my remotes to work.
COMPLETE CIRCUIT

A complete circuit is when a circuit is complete with a source of energy like a battery so the electricity can flow through it.
A complete circuit is needed for the light bulb to shine!
CONDUCTORS OF ELECTRICITY

A conductor of electricity is a substance that electricity can easily flow through. Conductors of electricity have atoms that are not tightly bonded to the nuclei so it is either for them to flow in one direction.
Steel is a conductor of electricity.
ELECTRICAL CHARGE

An electrical charge is an amount of electricity that is related to the amount of protons and electrons in an object.
An electrical charge can be found within a battery.
ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT

An electrical circuit is a path or line that an electrical current can flow through.
An electrical circuit allows the electricity to get to the light bulb!
ELECTRICAL CURRENT

An electrical current are electrons moving along a path such as a conductor.
The electrical current is what flows through an electrical circuit.
ELECTRICAL INSULATORS

An electrical insulator is a material whose internal electric charges don't flow freely so the electricity can't pass through.
An electrical insulator help keep electricity in.
INCOMPLETE CIRCUIT

An incomplete circuit is a circuit that's path is open at some point so the energy can not completely flow through.
An incomplete circuit means the light bulb can not light up!
